Black and white group prints (215 x 165 mm) of Minister for Defence Michael J. Noonan at NIHE Limerick. A black and white photograph of Thomas Power, Department of Mechanical & Production Engineering, outlining to the Minister the control system of a CNC lathe, which is a component of a flexible manufacturing system being developed at NIHE. This project is part of of the ongoing NIHE research programme in computer integrated manufacturing. Also included are Professor Noel Mulcahy, Dean, College of Engineering & Science and Professor Evan Petty, Head, Materials Engineering & Industrial Chemistry (ULPA/4/1122/1).
