Photocopy of memorandum in Spanish from nationalist headquarters in Salamanca reporting on the activities of 'Irish Independent' journalist, Gertrude Gaffney, in Spain, her concerns about the failure of post from Ireland to reach Irish Brigadiers, and the economic state of their families in Ireland without government support. Translations of Spanish material were made by Dr Barrie Wharton of the Department of Languages and Cultural Studies, University of Limerick.
