"But my absolute - working at the University of Limerick in every role that I had here was the greatest privilege of my professional life. and I know because I have spent time in a number of universities in Ireland and throughout the world that the spirit that I encountered in UL was such that it wasn’t bettered in any other university they might have come close to equalling it. But there was a tremendous spirit of doing the right thing by the students and being kind of the new kids on the block who were going to show the old fogey’s how you could do things better. And I really loved that spirit." -Interview excerpt |
