Transcript from interview with Dr. Joanne Moles, Lecturer in Physical Education at the National College of Physical Education, Thomond College, and the University of Limerick. Interview conducted on 6th December 2021 by Dr. Martin Walsh.
"72, right at the start I was here before it was built. I was appointed before there was an NCPE. So, we had a few initial meetings in the Glentworth Hotel, and we went and looked at the site I remember we looked at plans, which I must admit didn’t mean an awful lot to me, that isn’t my strength, but we looked at the plans for this building. We were fired up about the excitement around this whole new adventure. And it was exciting, particularly exciting for someone young whose confidence was strong at the time."
